| Cadmium tinted sanded German etching paper was used in the studio from digital references taken on a safari in Kenya. The patterns of the environment, vertical grasses and horizontal shadows were repeated in the markings of various animals. The glow of the veldt, lighting the zebras, was enhanced by the cadmium paper base complementing the camouflage effect. |
